With the summer months upon us we often find ourselves searching for an activity to satisfy our inquisitive, nature-loving minds in the hot afternoons once the birds have quieted and retreated to the shade. Well, we’ve got a one word answer for you – Butterflies! Like birds, butterflies are incredibly diverse; occupying very specific habitats; sporting mind-blowing colors, shapes, and patterns; pulling-off miraculous long-distance migrations; and exhibiting distinct behavior (and in a few rare cases, sounds)! Join Christopher Rustay and Raymond VanBuskirk as they explore the wonderful world of New Mexico butterflies.
